CORCLIMA
CORCLIMA — the Commission for Climate Change Resiliency in Monteverde, Costa Rica — is working to unite the greater Monteverde community in coordinated efforts to reduce carbon emissions, develop projects to capture and store carbon, and to develop and implement strategies for climate resilience. CORCLIMA projects are generally grouped into energy, agriculture, waste and consumption, and reducing climate vulnerability.
ALAP partners with CORCLIMA to connect universities with specific local institutions and projects in the Monteverde Region and elsewhere in the Bellbird Biological Corridor. ALAP can help universities to directly support CORCLIMA through research collaborations and internships.
