Monteverde Conservation League
The Bosque Eterno de los Niños — Children’s Eternal Rainforest — is owned and administered by the Monteverde Conservation League. For over 30 years, “the MCL has promoted conservation through land purchase, environmental education, reforestation and restoration of degraded land, sustainable development, ecotourism, and scientific research” (Monteverde Conservation League website, 2018). The Conservation League is a founding member of the Bellbird Biological Corridor local advisory council.
ALAP is seeking a university partner to collaborate with the Monteverde Conservation League in the expansion of their reforestation program in the La Tigre community.
